1. High-Speed Train
The high-speed train is a popular and efficient option, connecting Guilin Station, Guilin North Station, and Guilin West Station to Yangshuo in just 30–40 minutes.
- Recommended Starting Point: Guilin Station, located in the city center, is the most convenient departure point for most travelers.
- Important Note: Yangshuo Railway Station is in Xingping Town (兴坪镇), not the Yangshuo town center. To reach West Street (西街) in Yangshuo town, you’ll need to either:
- Take a taxi (approximately 20 minutes).
- Use a bus to Fengming Parking Lot (凤鸣停车场), which takes about 35 minutes.
2. Bus

- Where to Board:
- Guilin South Bus Station (far from the city center, not recommended)
- Guilin North Bus Station (near Guilin North Railway Station, convenient for those arriving at Guilin by high-speed trains)
- Qintan Bus Station (琴潭客运站), the closest station to Guilin Railway Station and the most convenient for those departing from the city center.
- Travel Time: Approximately 1–1.5 hours.
- Additional Note: The Guilin Old Bus Station has resumed operations, offering direct express buses to Yangshuo.
